Water Blooms is a series inspired by organic formations found in nature. The movements of the paint are instinctive and follow natural patterns. It is a playful homage to the beauty of nature's palette, allowing the pigments to form unique interlocking patterns of colour. The works are evocative of a flower blooming in water but also be interpreted as purely abstract.
